How to Connect Binance Smart Chain to MetaMask Wallet

Connecting your Binance Smart Chain (BSC) wallet to MetaMask is a quick and simple process. To begin, you will need to have both a MetaMask wallet and a Binance account. Once these two components are in place, you can proceed with the following steps

Setting up and installing MetaMask

If you're a mobile user, you may download MetaMask for Chrome, Firefox, iOS, and Android. Although we'll be using Firefox for the sake of this tutorial, all platforms will essentially follow the same directions.

The MetaMask Download page is where you should start. From there, choose your preferred platform and follow the instructions to install it on your device. Easy!

Next, adhere to the setup instructions provided by the program. Simply choose to Create a Wallet. Put the backup seed phrase in a safe place (ideally not one that is linked to the Internet). Without this clause, if your gadget is broken or lost, there is no way to get your money back. On the following page, verify that you've captured them in writing.

Setting up the wallet

You might see right away that we're still working with an Ethereum wallet. This will, at best, not function with BNB Smart Chain (BSC) DApps. Sending money to addresses you can't utilize might, at worst, result in a loss of funds.

Let's do something about that. To direct the wallet toward BNB Smart Chain nodes, we need to open Settings.

Simply add the network by clicking on the right top of the Main Ethereum Network. Finally, you are all set up after selecting BSC (Binance Smart Chain) from the list and clicking ADD, Approve, then Switch, or Dismiss.

The network has already been adjusted to the one you just entered, and the units are no longer denominated in ETH but in BNB after you save the network and go back to the main screen.
